UBCO STUDENT CARE PROGRAM
Third Space Life Charity works on-campus at the University of British Columbia Okanagan 6 days a week, offering counselling and mental health care for students. In 2018 we provided over 1,500 UBCO students with counselling. This program provides a much needed solution to the mental health epidemic on campus.
LIfe Transitions Program
The Life Transitions Program is an 8-week return-to-community action plan, designed to give individuals in
post-addiction recovery the resources and tools needed to successfully transition back into everyday life. With topics such as stress and anger management, financial planning, discovering individual strengths, communication styles and more, this program is designed to help end the addiction cycle and strengthen some of our community’s most vulnerable.
In 2017 we partnered with Freedom's Door serving 40 men. In 2018/19 we plan to serve 80 men and women through partnerships with organizations like Karis Society, Freedom's Door, Mamas For Mamas and NOW Canada.

THE CHANGE FUND
The Change Fund allows individuals to access counselling and life coaching services, regardless of their financial barriers. Your support allows us to provide healing and wholeness to as many people in our community as possible.
If you or someone you know needs the support of The Change Fund to access our counselling, you can start the application process through one of our practitioners or by contacting us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Gratitude Project is a 30-day initiative every October to inspire people to live lives of gratitude and express our gratitude for our local RCMP. Last year's RCMP Family Fun Day at the Kelowna Detachment attracted over 1,500 people. We also hosted the Gratitude Games with Global Fitness and a series of talks on Gratitude, co-hosted by the UBCO School of Nursing.

How it works
100% of our profits are poured into people
We believe people are our greatest investment. Every dollar made in our coffee shop, over expenses, is given to our charity. This fund reduces the obstacle of finances for those who need the help we provide (counselling services and wholeness programs).
Where do the funds come from?
To date, we’ve funded most of our projects and initiatives through private donors and revenue from our cafe. We are also pursuing grant funding and charitable giving from friends & sponsors of Third Space.
