Who We Serve
If you work with young adults and are wondering whether Third Space is the right place to send someone, here’s a quick reference.
Third Space is a good referral if the person you’re supporting:
- Is 18–29 years old and lives in the Central Okanagan
- Could benefit from ongoing, one-on-one counselling
- Is navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, grief, burnout, life transitions or other everyday mental health challenges
Third Space may not be the right referral if the person:
- Is experiencing a mental health emergency - direct them to 9-1-1, the nearest emergency room, or the 9-8-8 Crisis Line instead
- Needs psychiatric care, medication management, or specialized clinical treatment outside a counselling scope
- Is outside the 18–29 age range or outside the Central Okanagan
